Products - Wall Anchor

Rooftop Anchor Sample

Wall anchors offer identifiable engineered roof fall protection and are used when adequate structure is available above the roof deck. Some examples of this may be concrete parapet walls or exposed structural steel in a mechanical screen wall. Generally this allows for installations that don't require flashing or waterproofing.

Certified anchorages or tie-backs are required when employing suspended means to access the exterior building façade of structures three stories or higher. These certified anchors are often used by professional window cleaning companies, but are not one-dimensional. Many cities have codes whereby a façade inspection must be made by an engineering firm every 3-5 years to confirm structural integrity. Other trades suspending from equipment on the roof of a building include painters, sign companies, waterproofing and contractors. They too are required to ensure that any scaffolding and workers are tied off to independent anchorages. As previously noted, these roof anchors may also function as a fall restraint tie-back for trades working on the roof and who are not protected by a guard rail system or parapet of at least 42" in height.

Constructed of 3/4" 304 stainless round bar welded to a stainless steel face plate, our wall anchors are designed to meet or exceed OHSA and ANSI/IWCA I-14 safety standards.
