Outrigger Beams are commonly used in lieu of davit bases and arms. The outrigger beams are pinned directly to the roof anchor and eliminate the need for cumbersome counterweights. Counterweights can damage the roofing system if used incorrectly and even more importantly, if the worker using the counterweights does not calculate the weights correctly, serious injury or death may occur.
